Flight Refuelling Limited have developed the BRU - XX
Pneumatic Multiple Stores Carrier (PMSC) to provide a carrier
that offers self replenishing pneumatic ejection of both smart
and dumb weapons, as well as practice bombs, for modern
fighter aircraft without costly aircraft modifications. PMSC
provides significant operational benefits, enabling aircraft
to carry an increased number of weapons with a huge reduction
in maintenance and logistic support while curtailing the
requirement for multiple types of carrier.
Either two Mk-82/Mk-83 type stores or three miniature
munitions can be carried at any one time or alternatively, in
the practice configuration, up to six practice
bombs.
