Flight Refuelling Limited are the Prime Contractor for both the Chaff and Flare Dispenser on Eurofighter Typhoon. We have the experience and expertise to design and manufacture aircraft specific countermeasures to satisfy individual customer needs.

The Eurofighter Typhoon Flare Dispenser System provides off-board infrared seeking missile countermeasure capability to the Eurofighter Defensive Aid Sub System.

Two Flare Dispensers are fitted to each aircraft. Each Dispenser System consists of:

• An Electronics Unit
• Breech/Harness Assembly (Left or Right Hand)
• Magazine (Left or Right Hand)

These Flare Dispensers are located under the aircraft wing forward of the inboard wing Flaperon Jack between the forward and aft fairings, one each on the port and starboard side.

The Flare Dispenser system is controlled by the Defensive Aids Computer and by various inputs from aircraft equipment and the Pilot.

Flight Refuelling Limited is the System Integrator of Chaff Dispensers on the Eurofighter Typhoon. These launchers form part of the aircraft's Defensive Aids Suite, operating when a threat is confirmed.

As well as aircraft specific launchers, we also offer our missile rail launchers with a built in chaff dispensing capability.
