900 Series Air Refuelling Pod
The 900 Series employs an advanced, digitally controlled, electric drive hose response system. This gives the pod an exceptionally wide Air Refuelling speed range enabling the air refuelling of rotary wing, fixed wing and tilt rotor receivers. Many advanced features including compatibility with 2 pilot flight decks and a sophisticated fault diagnosis system.
Currently in production for Canada (A310), Germany (A310), Sweden (C130) and USAF (C130).
700 Series Air Refuelling Pod
Developed from the Mk32-2800 pod (RAF's VC10 and Peru's B707 tankers), using the service proven Fueldraulic/Tensator hose response system but overlaid by full authority digital control (world's first application to Air Refuelling equipment). The pod is virtually independent of aircraft power supplies making it an ideal item of role change equipment. The pod serves with the following air forces:
Canada (C130), Malaysia (C130), Singapore (KC135R), USA (KC10 and KC135R) plus another unspecified customer.
